Kids

At the Museum Abteiberg, children have many opportunities to discover art, the special architecture and the sculpture garden. When the museum was planned, a painting class was designed centrally in the museum in order to understand art processes through own practical experimentation. Since then, the open studio on the garden level has served as a popular creative laboratory for children, young people as well as school classes.

Art education at Museum Abteiberg follows a dialogue-based, action-oriented approach that invites children to experience the museum through play. They are accompanied with great commitment by the education team.

Teens

We are interested in your thoughts, ideas and questions about art. What touches and inspires you? What appeals to you and what would you like to learn more about? Would you like to be creative yourself and put your ideas into practice? Do you know about the painting class in the museum? You can use it as a creative laboratory and experiment artistically in a practical way.

At Museum Abteiberg you have the opportunity to discover contemporary art, the extraordinary architecture of the building and the sculpture garden.
